.6 C Icing sugar
150g softened butter
1 pinch of salt
1 egg
2 1/2 Tbsp of sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla flavour
2.4 C of flour
1/2 C of ground almonds
Brown, black and green food colours.
(Please excuse the strange measures. It is just how I converted them)

Mix the butter and icing sugar together.
Slowly add the remaining ingredients minus the flour and food colouring while continuing mixing.
Lastly add flour slowly.
Form dough into a ball and divide into four equal parts.
Colour three parts in separate bowls with brown, black and green. Leave one quarter natural.
On a piece of glad wrap slowly piece together bits of dough to form a log.
Roll this into a cylinder and leave in the fridge for an hour.
Cut into biscuits and bake at 170 degrees Celsius for 15 mins.

I found this fantastic tutorial for Army Camo Biscuits and was so excited to try them.

They were so easy to make and I think they looked great. I loved that they didn’t have any added icing. I think this same method could be used for other parties and colour schemes.
