It’s Halloween, so let’s party! Time to host your little horrors a monstrously memorable Halloween Party.
Laura form Partini Parties hosted this terrifyingly fun party for her son Luka and his coffee group buddies.
Make sure you check out the monster veggies and the glass spider dome – Aaaarrrrgghhhh!
Halloween Kid’s Party Decorations:
Using a colour pallet of orange, reds, white and black Laura made terrifyingly cute bats for above the food table. These matched the awesome creepy long balloons hanging above the drink station. Carving pumpkins into jack-o’-lanterns is a popular Halloween tradition. ‘This originated hundreds of years ago in Ireland. Back then, however, jack-o’-lanterns were made out of turnips or potatoes; it wasn’t until Irish immigrants arrived in America and discovered the pumpkin that a new Halloween ritual was born.’ (History.com) Laura has taken her own modern twist on decorated pumpkins by filling them with succulents. My favourite decoration is the glass dome with a mummy spider and her babies. Aaaarrrrgghhhh! I love the black ribbons with googley eyes on the straws and of course googley eyes everywhere!
Halloween Kid’s Party Food:
Laura has some spook-tacular fun halloween kid’s party food ideas. The monster vegetable jars are my favourite. The kid’s also had scary Lolly sticks, Monster munch, Hulk juice, Monster cookies and Chocolate Monster bark. A super combination of healthy options and some treats.
Halloween Kid’s Party Games:
The kid’s enjoyed some spooky fun with a few halloween kid’s party games. They created their own pipe cleaner spiders which they took home with them after the party. Laura organised a game using balloon swords and a spooky treasure hunt. They also played a game of popping balloons to set spiders free!

Laura’s party tip is to include the kid’s in the DIY and of course the music selection. I hope they chose ‘The Monster Mash.’
For my monster from his slab began to rise, and suddenly to my surprise.
He did the mash. He did the monster mash.
The monster mash. It was a graveyard smash.
He did the mash. It caught on in a flash.
He did the mash. He did the monster mash.”
