Easter is such a wonderful time of thankfulness and celebration. A time to indulge with family and friends in good food and chocolate.
In the Southern Hemisphere we get to enjoy Easter with the beautiful changing of the season into Autumn. Despite loving warm weather Autumn is one of my favourite times of the year. The air becomes crisper, the tress are magnificent and the idea of cuddling up on the couch with a hot drink and a blanket is getting closer.
We don’t have Easter alongside the season of Spring with all its ‘new life’ but we can still embrace all the symbols of Easter and new beginnings. Laura from Partini Parties hosted this pretty Easter Party for her coffee group. Soft pastels and florals with bunnies and eggs. Happy Easter Season.
Laura made a lovely pastel Balloon Garland to adorn the dessert table. Laura said, “DIY is such an easy way to introduce colour and theme, kid’s love getting involved!” My favourite idea from this party is Laura’s DIY Egg Garland. This is made using paint sample cards. So neat how the lines on the cards add a little detail to the eggs. The green grass bunnies, vase of daisies and yellow chevron party tableware all add to the pretty Easter theme.
Laura’s party food included beautiful pastel cookies, funfetti flavoured cake, cupcakes, alongside fruit and veg sticks.
To entertain the Coffee Group toddlers Laura provided blocks, books and ride-on toys. They also made their own DIY bunny noses using pipe cleaners, ice block sticks and pom poms.
The cake had a plain white exterior with Funfetti and vanilla buttercream interior. A cute little chocolate bunny sat on top of the cake.
The children took home their DIY bunny noses.
Thanks for sharing your pretty Easter party with us Laura. I feel inspired to enjoy all the prettiness and pastels of Easter by hosting my own celebration.
