Everything looks cuter in miniature size! Lisa from The Pretty Baker styled this sweet mini soiree party for her 12 year old daughter. Look out for the mini sushi in its own little tropical garden.
Lisa said, “We started with a mini balloon garland, easy to make and no helium required! A mix of 5″ and 9″ balloons in shades of coral, rose gold and blush with pops of red from our mini heart balloons and a few snips of green from the garden. The table and drink dispenser were from Alanna the Planner. A perfect display for our not so large sweet treats.” Lisa’s online store The Pretty Baker has so many gorgeous pieces to make parties ‘pretty’.
Miniature food is beyond cute… and surely you can eat more when it’s all tiny! Lisa said,”Party guests dined on mini burgers and teeny tiny sushi set on its own mini tropical setting before getting their fill of the sweeter things in life. There were mini candy apples on offer, mini ice cream cake pops painted lightly with baby pink edible art paint giving an almost holographic effect. Mini strawberry cookies, and the sweetest mini macarons and smores both by the very talented Magnolia Kitchen. All washed down with mini shakes!”
Once the guests had enjoy the gorgeous miniature party food they headed out to play mini golf. Such a great idea to have party food at home and then head out for some party fun. Love the photo of Miss 12 looking ‘miniature’ next to Dad.
Lisa made a gorgeous miniature size drip cake for the party. It was a raspberry, lemon & white chocolate cake with lemon cream cheese icing. The recipes for these can be found on Lisa’s The Pretty Baker blog.
Miss 12 made her own mini thank you boxes using kraft noodle boxes complete with a mini message of thanks in a bottle.
